Submitting a Request a Quote form does not create a binding agreement and does not oblige Web JVRS to provide the requested service.
A quotation will be based on the information available to us at the time.
If additional work, equipment, software, licences, subscriptions, repairs or services are required after work has commenced, we will inform the customer where reasonably possible and obtain approval before proceeding with material additional charges.
Unless otherwise stated on the quotation, prices are subject to change before a quotation has been accepted.
A quotation may be considered accepted when the customer confirms acceptance in writing, makes an agreed payment or deposit, or otherwise instructs Web JVRS to commence the quoted work.
Any quotation may have an expiry date. After expiry, Web JVRS may issue an updated quotation if prices, availability or requirements have changed.
The customer is responsible for reviewing the quotation and ensuring that the requested services, products and information are correct before accepting it.
Payment terms will be specified on the relevant quotation, proposal, invoice or service agreement.
Depending on the service, Web JVRS may require:
All payments must be made by the due date stated on the invoice or agreement.
Web JVRS reserves the right, subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement, to suspend ongoing services where an undisputed payment remains overdue after reasonable notice has been provided.
Any domain, hosting, software licence, subscription or third-party service that requires renewal may be suspended or cancelled by the relevant provider if payment is not received in time.
Web JVRS will perform IT support services with reasonable care and skill.
IT support may include diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, networking, security and other technology-related problems.
Technology problems can have multiple causes, and diagnosis may reveal additional faults or requirements that were not reasonably identifiable before work commenced.
Web JVRS does not guarantee that every computer, device, software problem, network problem or data issue can be repaired or resolved.
Where repair is not practical or economically reasonable, we may recommend replacement, upgrading or another solution.
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important files, documents, photographs, emails, databases and other information before equipment is submitted for repair, upgrade, maintenance or troubleshooting.
Where reasonably possible, customers should back up important information before Web JVRS performs work on a computer, storage device or other equipment.
Although Web JVRS will take reasonable care when working with customer equipment and information, data loss can occur due to hardware failure, corruption, malware, software problems or other circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable South African law.
Certain services may require the customer to provide temporary access to computers, websites, hosting accounts, domain accounts, social media platforms, advertising accounts or other systems.
Customers must ensure that they are authorised to provide such access.
Web JVRS will use access credentials provided to us only as reasonably necessary to perform the requested services.
Customers should change temporary passwords where appropriate after the work has been completed.
The availability and pricing of computers, components and accessories may depend on third-party suppliers.
Prices and availability may therefore change before an order is confirmed.
Product specifications, warranties and availability may vary by manufacturer and supplier.
Where a manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty applies, warranty claims may be subject to that manufacturer’s or supplier’s terms, procedures and assessment.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any rights a consumer may have under applicable South African consumer protection legislation.
Software supplied, installed or configured by Web JVRS may be subject to separate licence terms imposed by the software developer, publisher or provider.
The customer is responsible for complying with applicable software licence conditions.
Web JVRS will not knowingly install pirated or unlawfully obtained software.
Where software requires a subscription, renewal or licence fee, continued use may depend on payment to the applicable provider.
Domain registrations are subject to availability and the rules and requirements of the relevant domain registrar or registry.
A requested domain name cannot be guaranteed until registration has been successfully completed.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate registration information where required.
Domain names may require periodic renewal. Failure to pay renewal fees by the required deadline may result in suspension, expiry or loss of the domain.
Web JVRS cannot guarantee recovery of a domain once it has expired or been released.
Hosting services may be provided directly by Web JVRS or through third-party infrastructure and service providers.
We aim to provide reliable hosting services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Hosting services may occasionally be affected by scheduled maintenance, server problems, internet outages, security incidents, third-party failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for paying hosting renewal fees by the applicable due date.
Website design projects will be completed according to the scope agreed in the quotation or proposal.
The customer is responsible for providing required content, logos, images, product information, business information and approvals within a reasonable time.
Project timelines may be affected where required information, content, payment or approval is delayed.
Any work requested outside the agreed project scope may be quoted separately.
Web JVRS may use platforms, themes, plugins, software and third-party services when developing websites. These products may be subject to their own licences, subscriptions and terms.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any text, photographs, logos, videos, trademarks or other material supplied to Web JVRS may lawfully be used for the requested purpose.
The customer must not knowingly provide material that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
Web JVRS may refuse to publish or use content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or infringes third-party rights.
Digital marketing services may include search engine optimisation, Google-related services, paid advertising, social media setup, social media management and related services.
Web JVRS will perform agreed marketing services professionally but cannot guarantee specific rankings, website traffic, enquiries, sales, advertising performance or other business results.
Search engines, advertising platforms and social media platforms are operated by independent third parties and may change their algorithms, policies, pricing, functionality or account requirements without notice.
Advertising budgets and third-party platform charges are separate from Web JVRS management fees unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
Web JVRS may assist with network cabling, routers, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, antivirus software, VPNs and other security-related services.
No computer, network, antivirus product, VPN or security solution can guarantee complete protection against every cyber threat.
Customers remain responsible for using appropriate passwords, installing updates, maintaining backups and following reasonable security practices.
Web JVRS may recommend, supply, configure or integrate products and services provided by third parties.
These may include software providers, domain registrars, hosting companies, payment providers, advertising platforms, social media platforms, hardware manufacturers and other technology providers.
Third-party products and services are subject to their own terms, privacy policies, availability and pricing.
Web JVRS is not responsible for changes made independently by third-party providers that are outside our reasonable control.
Cancellation and refund rights will depend on the type of product or service purchased, the work already performed, third-party costs already incurred and applicable South African law.
Certain third-party charges, including domain registrations, software licences, hosting services, advertising spend and other services purchased specifically for a customer, may be non-refundable where permitted by law and the applicable provider’s terms.
Where a customer wishes to cancel a service, the customer should contact Web JVRS as soon as possible.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property owned by Web JVRS before a project begins remains the property of Web JVRS.
Third-party software, themes, plugins, fonts, photographs, stock assets and other licensed material remain subject to their respective owners’ licence terms.
For custom website or design work, ownership and usage rights will be determined by the applicable quotation, proposal or agreement.
Web JVRS retains ownership of its own methods, templates, systems, know-how and reusable development components unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and current.
However, technology, prices, specifications, services and third-party products may change.
